Samba dance for teens & adults

The Samba dance class is for everyone, beginners and advanced, come and find your own inner energised, sensual and beautiful samba dancer. We work with basic steps, posture, expression with lots of joie de vivre and sweat.

Classes are taught by Sophia Maria Fonseca, a lifelong dancer, daughter of Mestre Steen and born during a samba parade in Sambaskolen Kolibri.

Throughout her career she has studied hip hop, reggaeton, salsa, modern dance and afro - but her greatest passion is samba and she is the only Dane to have achieved the highly coveted position and title of Passista in Salgueiro, one of Brazil's largest and most recognised samba schools.

Practical information

It is possible to arrange a trial lesson, just call 53 55 36 10 or write to sophia@senzala.dk to make an appointment. A trial lesson costs DKK 150

If you want to train regularly after the trial period, you join and pay the membership fee for the rest of the current membership period.

The price per month is DKK 275 for one class per week or DKK 400 for two classes per week. Payment via MobilePay or cash at the classes at the beginning of each month.
